It was on the evening, when February 14th showed 14 wonders to this disastrous world with a bouquet of exquisite flowers beside a charming bottle of almond water, resting on a beautifully adorned table, accompanied by a small candle that illuminated the day in a place where night always lingered. Without missing a beat, the waiter took up his violin and stood beside the table.

The tenth wonder, a heart-shaped necklace emerging from the right pocket of the man's trousers. He held both sides of the necklace and began to move it toward the back of the girl's neck. A blush crept onto her sweet face. How could there still be a man who gifts a girl in this world? This was the tenth wonder.
The eleventh wonder was a bar of RKB chocolate presented to the girl by a waiter at the end of the evening. Taped to it was a heart-shaped note that read, "Will you marry me?" How could a proposal happen in this world? This was the eleventh wonder.
...

“Huh… Have I gone too far? Should I let it go now?” The man closed his book and stood up from the chair where he had been writing his story. He walked away from the room, holding the heart necklace around his neck, and headed for the bed. There, on the bed, lay a small angel sleeping, a baby boy with two small wings growing from his back.

The man placed his large hand on the baby's head and stroked it. “Marlin, forgive your useless father. Forgive your father for not being able to let you see and feel your mother's love. Your father is also desperate about that,” tears fell from the man's eyes, as this was a day of death and the birth of a miracle for him.

The baby awoke from his deep sleep, saw his father crying, and began to cry as well. Seeing this, the man picked him up and tried to soothe his child's tears, “Oh, my handsome son, are you crying because of your father? Sleep, my dear, for time has not yet come, even though the sun never sets.”

When midnight struck on the clock, that was when they had to leave. Right next to where they slept, a restaurant stood strong amid the chaos. They went to the restaurant, heading toward where the magic began.

“Welcome to Kalasan Belakang Restaurant, good morning Mr. Ryan and little Marlin, it's been a long time since we last met. Has it been a year?” greeted the cashier. He was a skilled violinist; music was probably his middle name. “Maybe tomorrow will be exactly one year. I've lost track of time. By the way, is the cake ready?” The man took the baby chair in the corner of the room and placed it at table number 7. He sat the baby in the chair and walked towards the cashier.

“This cake is for the little angel, but why did you name him after a fish? Wouldn't a bird's name be more suitable for him?”

“Huh… because it will remind me of her.”

“Oh yes, that's right, she would be happy to hear that.”

“Yes, she was always like that. She always cared for me before herself, even to the point of leaving me.”

The cashier took a lighter and lit the candle, “Hey, snap out of it, go and celebrate with your child. If you keep this up, I'll feel guilty for reminding you of the lady.” The cashier pushed him away to his desk. The man carried a red heart-shaped cake with a small candle on top. The cashier was indeed a skilled craftsman; he could even make candles with whatever materials he had on hand.

"A red rose-colored heart-shaped cake, made with all his heart by the waiter who was also a cashier. Leave the candles of the past behind; let the candles of the present burn fiercely until the future comes. How could this cake be the end of magic in this world? This…, Is this a miracle, or has the time for miracles come to an end?"

The cake was placed on the table in front of the little baby. The baby laughed with joy, watching the flame move from side to side. With a smiling face, looking at the only thing his wife had given him, he had let go of all the miracles that had passed and begun to create new ones.

"Happy birthday, my son."
