A house buried in sand

Labyrinth Beach is a small, concrete maze located within a multi-level room that features a seamless transition to a tropical beach. All the walls, floors, and ceilings of this level are made of concrete, painted sky blue, with white floors. Illustrations of clouds and the sun can be found on the walls or ceilings, rendered in both cartoon and realistic styles. This level consists of rooms of varying sizes connected by winding corridors and is well-lit by LED lights. The level has a total of five floors above the water’s surface, and it is unknown how many floors lie below the water’s surface; each floor is connected by staircases scattered throughout. Each floor is approximately five meters high, and the total floor area varies but is estimated to be no more than about 1 km².

Many beach-themed items, such as umbrellas and toys, can be easily found here. Items like Almond Water can be found scattered in picnic baskets and inside drink machines; a new bottle of Almond Water will reappear in the same spot about an hour after it’s taken. This beach has a slope of about 5°, and this slope continues to increase as the distance from the shoreline grows, causing the lower sections of the floor to be completely covered by sand. The seawater has no waves or currents, so the water remains calm at all times; however, the sound of waves can still be heard along the shoreline, though the source of the sound is unknown. The sea surface also does not experience tides like most beaches. Some aquatic life similar to that found on Earth is known to inhabit the area around the light source, such as coral, mollusks, shellfish, and so on. Several types of small fish can also be found.

This level has an oddity: the presence of wind sounds and temperatures typical of a beach, yet neither wind nor sunlight is actually present here. Bird sounds can be heard throughout the non-submerged areas, but there is no evidence that these birds actually exist on this level. This level provides a sense of comfort to anyone resting within it, giving survivors the sensation of “being on a real beach.” Another notable feature of this level is the coconut trees growing along the shoreline; this is because each coconut tree has been noclipped and penetrates the level’s walls and ceiling. Coconuts can be picked and are safe to eat, and for some reason, they reappear about an hour after being picked from the tree. Fully equipped lodging huts and typical beach recreational facilities can also be found here; some of them also experience noclip with the level’s walls and ceilings, so they cannot be used properly.

A series of efforts to further explore this level have been undertaken; as a result, all floors not submerged by seawater have been mapped, while the submerged floors remain largely unexplored. This is due to the level’s nature, which sends survivors out of the level if they fall asleep, thereby hindering exploration due to time constraints and the limited stamina of the explorers. The number of floors reached so far is seven from below the surface, but none of these floors have been fully explored.

Discovered Areas

The first five floors, which are underwater, are teeming with a variety of marine life and have fairly good lighting; the water temperature is considered quite warm and the water is clear. The next two levels have fewer organisms and dimmer lighting; the water temperature is cooler, but the clarity remains the same. A notable feature on the seventh level is the presence of small amounts of metal and rock formations resembling living creatures; it is estimated that their numbers will continue to increase as one descends further.

Entrance and Exits

Entrance

Falling asleep on a boat in the Marine can transport survivors to this level, and they will wake up on the shore in one of the corridors. Please note that this method has only a small chance of success.

Exits

Falling asleep is equivalent to exiting this level and will definitely take you out. Sleeping in different locations will take the survivor to different places as well, such as:

  • Falling asleep in a sand dune will take the survivor to Prambanian.
  • Sleeping while leaning against a soda machine will take the survivor to Nostalgic City.
  • Falling asleep on a chair will take the survivor to Industrial Suburbia.
  • Falling asleep on a rusted metal bar washed up on the beach will take the survivor to one of the vehicle wrecks in Mega Langit Brige.
  • Falling asleep under a coconut tree will transport the survivor to Land of Earth.
  • Falling asleep on a carpet or cloth will transport the survivor to Fashion Store.
